Send a complete inquiry across time zones
Buyers in markets such as Mexico, Chile, Peru, Colombia and Brazil, or Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Egypt and Ghana, may work with different window systems and installation practices. State the destination and application rather than assuming that a similar-looking Chinese catalog section will fit the local assembly.
Send cross-section drawings or dimensioned samples, alloy and temper, quantities by profile and color, required bar lengths and finishing requirements. Include hardware, gasket and thermal-break strip specifications. Explain outdoor exposure and any required project tests so that the finish is selected for the application. A powder-film range such as 60–80 μm must form part of an agreed coating specification.
- Drawings in DWG, DXF or PDF, with critical dimensions and the current revision.
- Required lengths, quantities and any cutting, machining or labeling.
- Reference colors and the intended finish, including environmental exposure.
- Actual samples or specifications for rollers, locks, gaskets and other mating parts.
- Destination, desired delivery date, packing requirements and forwarder arrangements.
Approve the drawing and finished trial samples
Local rollers, locks and EPDM gaskets can make a seemingly small channel dimension critical. Guantian reviews the mating parts and issues a die drawing before tooling. Coating allowance must follow the actual channel, finish and fit; an allowance used on a previous project should not be copied automatically.
After trial extrusion, check samples in the intended finished condition. For suitable sections, 200–300 mm samples allow a practical check of gasket insertion, hardware engagement and appearance. Longer samples may be needed to assess sliding travel or straightness. Agree on the required samples and written approval before bulk production, and allow separately for international courier time.
Arrange inspection before booking shipment
The inspection plan should cover critical dimensions, alloy and hardness requirements, straightness, coating, visible surfaces and functional fit. Agree on sampling and the records required. Batch identification connects the received bundles to the approved drawing and inspection results.
Customer visits, independent inspection or a live WhatsApp review can be arranged in advance. Photographs and video help review the goods, but they do not replace a required independent test or physical assembly check. Normal office hours are 08:00–18:00 China Standard Time, UTC+8; the sales team also coordinates responses across time zones as availability allows.
| Milestone | Buyer input | Guantian output | Timing to confirm |
|---|---|---|---|
| Inquiry and drawing review | Drawings, components, quantities and finish | Technical questions, quotation and proposed route | Depends on completeness and engineering scope |
| Tooling and first trial | Approved die drawing and mating parts | Trial profiles, measurements and finished samples | A 10–15 day planning window may apply to suitable jobs; approval and courier time are separate |
| Bulk production | Written sample approval and final order list | Extrusion, agreed finishing, assembly and inspection | A 12–18 day planning window is subject to order scope and capacity |
| Release and loading | Inspection release and forwarder coordination | Bundle labels, packing records and loading photographs | Allow the agreed packing and booking window; one to two days may suit a prepared load |
Plan protection for the actual shipping route
Some sea routes involve several weeks in transit; a 30–50 day planning example is not a sailing-time promise for every destination. Humidity and temperature changes make drying and protection important. Pack cooled, dry profiles with the agreed protective film, foam separation and outer wrapping, and avoid trapping moisture inside the package.
Container loading must account for bundle dimensions, protection, weight distribution and destination handling. Lengths around 5.80–5.95 m may suit some plans, but the choice must be checked against the actual container and cutting requirements. An 18–25 ton loading example is not a universal container payload; confirm the equipment rating, route restrictions and shipment plan with the forwarder.
Coordinate profiles and accessories as one supply list
Stock items from Guantian's Nanhai warehouse can be considered alongside custom profiles from the Sanshui manufacturing base. Matching hardware, gaskets and thermal-break strips may also be consolidated where agreed. Check their availability, packing and completion dates before assuming that every item can leave together.
Use one clearly numbered order list and corresponding bundle or carton labels. This helps the receiving team identify components, reconcile quantities and prepare assembly without relying on visual similarity alone.
Frequently asked questions
Can we buy using physical samples instead of CAD files?
Yes. Send clear sample sections and explain the mating components and application. A sample of at least 150 mm can be a starting point, but we may need a longer piece or additional parts. The resulting drawing requires your approval before tooling.
Can stock and custom profiles share one container?
Yes, subject to stock availability, production completion and an agreed consolidation plan. Confirm quantities and packing for every item before the shipment is booked.
Send your drawings or samples, destination and planned quantities on WhatsApp. Our sales team will help coordinate the technical review, inspection and export-packing plan.
